Measure the are covering and multiply the length by the height. This will give you the area you need. Sometimes it helps to custom order the wallpaper so you do not have to cut and paste.

To correctly determine the right amount of wallpaper you will need to paper a room, you need to figure the square footage of each wall involved. To do that multiply the ceiling height by the wall width. Then add together the square feet of all the walls in total and divide by 25. This will give you the number of rolls you will need.
