To install knotty pine walls, take your pine and measure it to the size of the wall. Depending on if you want to give some decorative look will depend on where you measure from. Going with just the straight look, measure the wall from end to end. After cutting the pine, place it on the wall and nail to wall. Continue to do this all the way up the to the ceiling. Make sure as you add each piece that you butt it right up against the prior board. When finished placing boards, take some polyurethane and treat the pine so that it gives it that smooth finish.
