You need a bottle with a threaded cap, some glass fibers, and a circular disc of cardpaper. You can make a simple microscope out of just a paperclip. Straighten out the paperclip, then make a small loop at the end of it with a pair of pliers. The loop should be about 1.5 millimeters wide. Lightly coat the paper clip in oil, dip it in water, and the water in the loop will make a 2x microscope.
