How To Make A Street Map

To make a street map for the purpose of providing directions to or from a specific location, the first thing to do is draw the compass at the top of the page. Next place a letter or symbol for the starting and ending place. Draw a line from point 'A' beginning to point 'B'. Draw a line across the center line to indicate an intersection. Write the name of the street along side the line, this is especially useful if the street name changes. You can also put landmarks along the way such as service stations, fast food shops, etc... It is also good to include the directions in text format as well.
