Glad you asked...
Making peppermint oil is fairly easy, but involved. Firstly you need a good base oil, like grape seed or wheat germ oil and about 3 days. you can pick up peppermint at a grocery store or local farmers market relatively cheap too. Grab a bag and slightly bruise the leaves. whatever oil comes out place in a jar along with your selected "carrier oil". place crushed or chopped leaves in and wait overnight. strain and repeat. here is a link to a more involved method that also has video clips. Then again, this answer might help you...
In order to make peppermint oil, you'll need a fresh clean peppermint plant, a jar with a lid, cheesecloth, and almond oil. The peppermint plant must be submerged in a jar filled with almond oil, and shaken in order for the plant's oil to be released. Replace the plant after twenty four hours, and repeat process completely two more times. Don't forget to use the cheese cloth to separate the oil from the plant before you replace it with a fresher one.
