To kill a turkey you'll want to hang it by its feet. You then hold the head and beak with one hand and cut its throat with the other hand. You cut from one side of the neck to the other, making sure to sever the jugular vein. Then you let the turkey soak in a hot tub of water at least 145 degrees for 45 seconds. Remove from water, let cool, and remove feathers. Singe the turkey to remove the pin feathers. Lay the turkey breast up and cut between the knee joints to remove the feet. Remove the skin flaps between the legs and around the anus. This will open the body cavity. At this point you cut out the gland under the anus. Do not cut any organs.
