To open a combination lock when you do not know the combination, you would have to try every imaginable combination, which would take a very long time. You can try calling the maker of the lock, who can sometimes help you if there is a serial number on the lock. You can also call a locksmith.

I am assuming you do not have the combination in hand. It is not easy and will take some math and tinkering and practice. First spin the clockwise and stop at zero. Pull the lock as if trying to open and keep that tension applied. Turn the dial slowly in a clockwise direction until it will not spin. Record that number, and then let the pressure off and spin in same direction just slightly passed where it stopped. Then again apply pressure bu trying to open and keep the pressure on as you spin in the opposite direction. When you get to the spot where the dial stops, record number repeat the above steps. When you are done you will not have a perfect match to the actual combination, but you will be close.
