Chicken giblets are packed inside the chicken in a paper bag for preparation to go to the market. You can soak the chicken in a tub of salty water to get rid of excess blood, and pull the bag out of the inner chicken. Some people like to boil the giblets for gravy. I usually fry the liver in butter for a special snack.

Chicken giblets are contained in the body cavity of the chicken when you buy it. To remove, just pull them out along with the heart and the neck prior to cooking.
