A legal opinion is pretty much the same as writing a legal brief. The legal opinion and/or brief is written by stating the case name and number followed by where you can find the docuent at (case number where it is located). The next thing that is written is the procedural history. This basically summarizes what happened within the case. The next step is to write down the holdings of the case as well as whetheror not any legal issues have arisen. Next write down the outcome of the case and the legal opinion that was given by the judge that gave the outcome of the case.
